It has
been 32 years since the destruction of the Empire, the end of the Sith reign, and the Return of the Jedi. Thirty-two years
since the dreaded Darth Vader was redeemed by his son Luke, once again becoming the heroic Jedi Anakin Skywalker, and fulfilled
his destiny as the Chosen One; overthrowing his evil master, Emperor Palpatine.
A new
Galactic Republic now unifies the many liberated star systems, functioning with peace and dignity; ensuring a stable democracy
as it once had hundreds of years before. The same greed and disputes that had corrupted the Republic before the Dark Times,
ultimately leading to its demise, no longer pollute the realm of politics. The Jedi Order once again flourishes under the
wise council of the “Enlightened Assembly,” a small group of Jedi Masters including such heroic and honored members
as Luke Skywalker. The Jedi Knights, guardians of peace and justice in the galaxy, thrive as never before under a revised
Code based on the “Journal of the Whills.” They number in the thousands and maintain order in even the far reaches
of space.
Han and
Leia Solo, time-honored veterans of the “Galactic War” against the Empire, now have three children. Han and his
sidekick Chewbacca work as tradesmen and equipment suppliers for the Jedi Order while Leia, along with their three children
Jacen, Jaina, and Anakin, now serves as a Jedi Master on the “Assembly” and a foreign emissary for Coruscant.
Luke is now married to the Jedi Mara Jade
In recent
months, a powerful and influential Empire on the planet Kryptal has rallied several other star systems, each known for its
vast advancements science and military tactics, to its realm of dominion. A contract officially recognizing the newly gained
territories as subdivisions of the Kryptal System has been presented to the Senate by the ruler of Kryptal, King Sharr. While
the Kryptal Empire’s expansion of boundaries appears to be peaceable at the surface, recent discoveries of King Sharr’s
plot to create a super-weapon halt the political process. Several years ago, a fatal accident involving the outbreak of an
unclassified disease occurred within a secret project of the Galactic Science Institution, a neutral organization funded by
the Republic. A precautionary investigation of the project was issued by the Republic, an investigation which raised no further
questions until recently. Originally, the mysterious disease that killed over a dozen scientists was thought to have been
an accidental creation during the process of finding a cure for a known the disease. The investigation found that the project
was being lead by the Kryptal Empire to find the treatment for a deadly illness, and the project was allowed to continue.
However, the investigation was reopened when it was discovered that several politicians assassinated over the last five years
may have been victim to this unknown toxin created in the Republic’s science labs. A young, beautiful investigator on
the rise named Crystal Vanai is hired by the Jedi to investigate the Kryptal Project. This decision causes an upset with King
Sharr, who denies the creation of biological weapons and voices his intentions to leave the Republic. He officially withdraws
his Kingdom from the Republic, or Union of Democratic Star Systems. The Republic orders him to cease use of the Galactic Science
Institution on the grounds that it is solely for Republic use. King Sharr refuses to cease use of the Foundation’s facilities
and scientists on the basis that the Kryptal Empire has donated much to the Science Institution over the years.
As the legal battle continues, King Sharr subtly persuades more sovereignties to join his domain, amassing a
powerful army with an unknown purpose. Meanwhile, Crystal Vanai, alongside a small Jedi taskforce led by Luke Skywalker, travel
the galaxy in search of answers to the puzzle of the Kryptal Project.
**SPOILERS**
At home on Coruscant, capital of the Republic, a rampage of vicious, wild animals is mysteriously released into
the city streets; attacking thousands of citizens, urged by the same nameless illness that had ravaged the small Republic
science lab five years earlier. The Jedi Knights, aided by the heroic exploits of Jaina and Jacen Solo, manage to destroy
most of the fierce creatures. In the following hours, hundreds of citizens are found to be infected with the strange virus
and turn violent. It is also discovered that during the chaos, the precious Journal of the Whills was stolen from the Jedi
Temple.
The Solo twins race to find a cure and the Journal, while Luke and Crystal hurry to prove the Kryptal Empire’s
creation of the disease. What they discover is that the virus being spread is only the mild version of an even more horrifying
biological super-weapon being fostered on the planet Treecia. Treecia is home to the brilliant philosophers and scientists
which Yoda descended from. Luke and Crystal go to Treecia in search of further answers. Luke contacts the spirit of deceased
Jedi Master and his former mentor, Yoda, for guidance. Meanwhile, Crystal Vanai disappears and is believed to have been kidnapped
by King Sharr. Luke’s wife Mara and her padawan are sent to the planet Kryptal to spy on the King in hopes of discovering
Crystal’s whereabouts. What they discover is that Crystal Vanai has actually been a spy for the Kryptal Empire and was
working to steal the Journal of the Whills from the Jedi. She is the apprentice of Sharr, who appears to somehow be a Sith
Lord, trained in the ancient arts and skilled in the ways of the Force. The two Jedi spies are discovered. Mara escapes alive
and returns to Treecia, but her apprentice is killed by Crystal. Luke and Mara contact Leia at the Jedi Temple and request
backup from the Jedi, who have just now defeated the rampant virus on Coruscant.
As the Jedi taskforce lands on Treecia to stop the creation of the secret bio-weapon, they are met with the
Kryptal Empire’s massive military force. A colossal battle ensues across the jungles and oceans of Treecia’s surface,
even extending into an underwater dogfight amongst a fleet of sub-fighters. The tiny Treecians join the Jedi in the struggle
against the brutal King Sharr. Han Solo fights his way underwater to get a sub full of Jedi led by Luke down to a science
lab at the bottom of the ocean where Sharr is commanding the troops. At the planet’s surface, Mara, Jaina, and Anakin
battle like sea-pirates aboard ships on the ocean to defend Treecia’s capital city from attack. Deep in the jungle,
Leia, Jacen, and several other Jedi pursue Crystal Vanai. Luke and three other Jedi confront Sharr face-to-face in a personal
duel. During the struggle, one of the Jedi is killed and the other two are separated from their master while Luke faces his
enemy alone. King Sharr reveals his true identity: he is Darth Plagueis.
Lord Plagueis, an ancient master of the Dark Side, was once the mentor of Darth Sidious. He divulges long-forgotten
and secret truths about Darth Sidious and the “Chosen One” to our hero, Luke. As his revelation goes, hundreds
of years ago, Darth Plagueis had mentored his hopeful young apprentice Sidious in the ways of darkness, teaching him hidden
powers beyond those known to the Jedi; even the power to attain eternal life. As Sidious’ potency grew, he became arrogant
and obsessed with his own authority. Sidious killed his master before Plagueis could reveal to his student the deepest secrets
of the Dark Side. The truth was that Plagueis had knowledge of ancient Sith and Jedi masters so powerful they had attained
a god-like status within the will of the Force, using the enigmas of eternal life. These masters of old were no longer found
in the “Journal of the Whills” or any more recent manuscripts, but only in the “Charge of Darkness,”
a book pre-dating the “Journal,” which held secrets pertaining to eternal existence. This Bible of the Sith Lords
contained its own prophecies about a Chosen One, a powerful being born from a virgin who be a savior and balance the Force.
But the prophecy was much more detailed than that found in the “Journal of the Whills;” it stated that the Chosen
One would be a “warrior of the day who would succumb to the will of the Force by shadow.” In other words, he would
be a Jedi who would turn to darkness and avenge the Sith, bringing them back to power.
This Sith Lord to rule all others would attain god-status and destroy the Jedi. This malevolent fiend was intended
to turn fully to the Dark Side, permanently surrendering his soul to the will of hatred; only then would he become the prophesied
god of evil. Plagueis spent his life in search of the Chosen One, and in search of an heir to continue that search should
he ever be discovered by the Jedi and killed. Plagueis was only able to tell his apprentice minor details of the Chosen One
and the secret of eternal life before he was betrayed and murdered by Sidious.
What Sidious did not know is that should his own apprentice ever betray and overthrow him, Plagueis would be
reincarnated as the result of a complete circle within the Force.
When Sidious became Emperor and took Darth Vader as his student, he overestimated the work he had done to turn
the young Jedi to darkness, overconfident in his own powers of persuasion. When Darth Vader turned back to the Light Side
of the Force and destroyed the Emperor, he unknowingly released Darth Plagueis’ soul back into the physical realm of
consciousness.
Now, for over the thirty years, Darth Plagueis has secretly been searching once again for the One of Prophecy.
His identity forgotten, he has been able to roam the galaxy freely under the name of King Sharr, preparing for the day when
he could wage a full-out war against the Jedi. This time, Plagueis would not hide for hundreds of years and plot to control
the senate. Instead, he would build an army the likes of which has not been seen since the days of old and confront the Jedi
Order openly like a true warrior.
Luke Skywalker informs Plagueis that his plan will fail as his biological super-weapon, whatever it truly is,
will soon be destroyed by the Jedi forces on the planet surface. Even if Luke is killed, King Sharr will not succeed in finishing
the Kryptal Project. When Luke’s two Jedi assistants finally return to save their master, Plagueis releases yet another
well-kept secret and escapes the underwater-lab. Five armor-clad, masked warriors step into the room and ignite their red-bladed
lightsabers, some forms of which have never been seen by the Jedi.
As the power plant growing the bio-weapon deep in Treecia’s jungles is destroyed and the Kryptal forces
are repelled by the Jedi, our three Jedi heroes on the ocean floor fight for their lives against the five formidable Sith
warriors. Luke and his own apprentice manage to escape alive, having dispatched two of the mysterious Sith combatants. The
others are killed in the struggle.
In the end, King Sharr’s forces are defeated and retreat; the facility where the biological
super-weapon is being fostered is discovered deep in the jungle and destroyed. Although the immediate danger is conquered,
King Sharr, or Darth Plagueis, escapes with his padawan Crystal Vanai. Back at Coruscant, Kryptal has been officially separated
from the Republic and though it has suffered a defeat, the kingdom continues to grow in power as the persuasive, admired King
Sharr gains esteem and allegiance from the local star systems. Imminent danger seems to loom as the Jedi are unsure of Plagueis’
plans and ponder the mystery of the Sith warriors who confronted Luke. The possibility of war looms. The Jedi Order faces
a time of uncertainty as they plot to take back the “Journal of the Whills” and defeat Darth Plagueis and his
new apprentice.
